Super Bowl XLIV is this Sunday, February 7th. If your like me, you’re scrambling to come up with some out of the ordinary food dishes to take to a party that will really knock the socks off your friends and family.
I’m going to list five here that I really like the sound of. Feel free to cast your vote or try them out yourself this weekend.
1. Pepperoni Beer Cheese Soup – I wish I had the recipe for this. My great aunt Bev use to make it in their family restaurant in Sioux Falls, SD. It was so good! I think I could probably wing it and come up with something close. Beer, cheese, and pepperoni. It can’t be that hard to put together.
2. Chili-Lime Butter Chicken Wings – A lot of butter, a little spice, and a chicken wing. Nice!
3. Grilled Corn & Bean Salsa with Baked Corn Chips – Very easy recipe that takes only 20 minutes to create.
4. Jambalaya Sandwich – I LOVE jambalaya. Put it in a sandwich? Forget about it!
5. Big Game Punch – What’s a Super Bowl party without cocktails?
Sounds good huh? I’m not sure I can wait until Sunday to whip some of these up.
