Do you live in or around the Watertown, SD area? If so here is a small list of some events happening in your area this weekend. Take the family and get out of the house this weekend and try to shake off the winter blues.

1. Dinosaur Adventure – Friday, January 29th – Sunday, January 31st at the Goss Opera House & Gallery, 100 E. Kemp Avenue, Watertown, SD 57201. Dinosaur Adventure traces the story of the dinosaur from their earliest appearance all the way up to the last of the dinosaurs. The exhibit consists of skeletons, skulls, claws, eggs, and even fossilized dinosaur droppings!

2. Watertown’s RiSING Star Auditions – Saturday, January 30th. 7:00pm at the Goss Opera House & Gallery, 100 E. Kemp Avenue, Watertown, SD 57201. NAIFA-Glacial Lakes Region wants to help you showcase your vocal ability to the community! Watertown’s RiSING Star is a competition to showcase area vocalists. It presents the opportunity to join together and to perform on a world class stage at the Goss Opera House.

3. PO Prom & Bridal Show – Sunday, January 31st. 12:00pm – 4:00pm at the Codington County Extension Complex.
